Flexible Audio Visual Options

440 Elm provides a beautiful canvas with the flexibility to bring in relevant A/V options. Unlike many hotels or convention facilities, we do not have an exclusive A/V vendor locked in. You are welcome to bring in A/V vendors with the expertise, services, and price points that make sense for your event. You're also welcome to utilize our in-house options as part of your rental.

Lighting

440 Elm has a beautiful well-lit space with windows that provide some natural light. Our stained glass also creates some beautiful patterns in the sunlight or when backlit in the evening.

Our chandeliers in the Sanctuary and in our 2 foyers are on dimmers.

• In the Sanctuary, our central chandelier is on it's own dimmer and the 4 corner chandeliers are paired to a second dimmer switch
• Other lights are on flip switches...there's a whole panel, so discuss with us how to get the lighting you're looking for from above
• We have 14 indoor and 4 exterior uplights linked to a DMX board that we can also use to add lighting in the facility (you or your A/V person or DJ are welcome to bring additional)

Many customers want to bring candles, which are allowed in the LED flavor in in hurricanes

Presentations

440 Elm provides multiple screen options onsite and is open to upgrades like LED screens or projection mapping. We have:

• a drop-down 12' wide screen included as part of our facility that generally needs a be paired with a high lumen projector casting from the back of the room
• two portable pull-up 165" projector screens on either side of the columns of our stage that can be paired with short-throw projectors
• one portable 80" screen that is better suited for events in our Parlor

Speakers

Our house equipment includes several Bose S1Pro+ speakers that can be linked wirelessly. We also have a Shure microphone that hooks in for simple presentations.

Power

440 Elm has a 600A 3 Phase power infrastructure for the venue. We have multiple dedicated plugs all over the venue, including a 50A CA twist plug with a spiderbox inside the Sanctuary! Please tour and we can think through your event plan!
